A bit of background, we have 2 DD’s both of which I’ve BF and settled through the night until they were night weaned (20 months and 19 months). Our youngest who we only night weaned a few weeks ago would normally wake 3-5 times a night and I would spend most of the night in her bed. On weekends my husband would look after the girls in the morning for an hour or two whilst I caught up on some sleep. Sometimes he would have the lie in if he had been working late or he would go back to bed after me if he was also tired. Since night weaning she has been sleeping much better though still wakes later into the night- we have been doing a few nights each with her, this week I did M,T,W and he did T (which was the best she has ever slept), F, and part of Saturday (I went in the first wake but was having a sneezing fit and kept waking her so we swapped and he went in when she next woke). Yesterday he had a 45 min lie in (this would have been longer but we had plans) and today I felt that it was my turn. But he disagreed since he’d been in her room more than me last night. However my 3 nights in there earlier in the week were working days so I couldn’t have had a lie in on those days. AIBU to ask for a lie in?
