How much to build a house this size?

DH and I have had our house valued and we were both pleasantly surprised. Looking to move next year.

IMO our budget is very healthy but even houses at the top end are nothing special and just a bit standard (live in a commuter town to London). When we last looked just before Covid we would have been looking at dream houses for our current budget. This has given Dh and I the idea to build.

I am not sure it’s feasible at all. But can anyone give a very very ball park figure for how much it would cost to build this house attached?

Would you say 500k, million?

I’m getting wildly different numbers off google. A reputable site says £1,750 and £3,000 per m2.

Do you own the land on which it would be built?

That could dwarf the building costs, if you wanted a large garden as well as the big house.

Don't forget landscaping, that's ££££s

High end fixtures and fittings will also bump up the price.
