Persil plastic free laundry tab boxes are useless!

I wanted to put a quick wash on. Ended up spending 10 minutes trying to open the bloody box! Ended up ripping some of the box in the process.

I understand that the tabs are dangerous for children and that the box should have a "child lock" type opening but this particular box is not fit for use. It's really thin cardboard and wouldn't bloody open! I have used other cardboard ones that were more sturdy and opened fine but this one is useless!

I'm generally a patient, competent person (I do flat pack etc 🤗😂) but this has really aggravated me.

Please tell me I'm not alone in my frustration and/or incompetence 😫😂

I've literally just done the same thing. Ended up ripping a hole in the box to get them out!

Yes exactly the same. Just silly

Sainsburys capsules still come in plastic so am planning on buying those and then refilling from persil bags. I am also sad about cocktail stick boxes and am firmly sticking to a much sellotaped old plastic dispenser.

I leave the box unopened now (threw the lid bit away) as it was so fucking infuriating.
