Get them lessons in the same sports/hobbies.

And no you definitely can’t engineer human relationships to this extent. William would have been expected to marry an aristocratic woman. I think he’s very lucky to have found Kate, who is relatively very normal and grounded given his likely other options that he would be meeting. She seems very supportive of him despite the strangeness of the family business she has joined. She hasn’t put a foot wrong and that must be very difficult not to do in her position.

Like I said upthread if I wanted my daughter to marry George or Louis or my son to marry Charlotte there would be no way unless I could snag tickets to the Wimbledon finals in the royal box, went skiing in Verbier the same week as them, enrolled my kids in Lambrook.
It would be a full time operation trying to orchestrate it & I would need a bottomless money pit!

A lot of people on MN are of the opinion that the upper classes are the salt of the earth. They once met Princess Anne at the opening of a donkey sanctuary in Bishop's Waltham and she was very down to earth and shook hands with everyone. So there.
