Small businesses

AIBU to think covid boredom and the homemade small business craze has gone too far?

Im a bit fed up of every aspect of it and seeing the same things plastered everywhere. Small business pages constantly posting about ‘please bare with us, we are just a one man band, postage delays, only had 3 orders in a month etc”
The prices of these things are why!
There is a massive difference between say a handcrafted leather wallet with hand stitching and a pair of one colour, basic shape clay earrings with clay bought from hobby craft that someone is charging £25 for! You can buy sterling silver earrings for that price on Amazon without waiting 2 weeks for them to arrive.

These people are not actually being business savvy because their covid hobby doesn’t make them a skilled craftsman but they are expecting people to pay as if they are and complaining about lack of business!

I cringe when I see some of the offerings!
