Where are my glasses?!

Ridiculous perhaps but anyone out there have a good mind's eye or what have you that would be able to tell me where my glasses are?? They've been missing a while, I have my older ones but they're pretty useless. The missing ones have purple frames and I have looked under/behind pretty much every bit of furniture in my house and down the sides of my sofa/chairs. Thanks!

Maybe you need to ramp it up a bit...check in your fridge and freezer.

Sock drawer?
Underneath the laundry basket?

I'm blind without mine so I understand
Next to the kettle?
Did you take them off to clean when you were in the bathroom?
On a bookshelf?
Between sofa cushions or wedged in the sides?

Check the pockets of every item of clothing that you own, even the ones you've not worn in years and the ones that you don't think have pockets. Behind the headboard of the bed. In a drawer. Down the back of the drawers where old T-shirts/wooden spoons hang out (delete as applicable to the type of drawer!). In the tumble drier. In the shopping bags. On the bookshelf with the cookbooks. Somehow under the bath, even if it's one of those ones with fixed side panels. In the garage. Car glovebox. Top of a doorframe or tall cupboard. In long-unworn shoes. Good luck!

At what point did you have to get out your old glasses to wear? Was it first thing in a morning? Or later in the day? If you can remember at what point you needed to start using your old glasses, that may be a clue as to where they may be.

They’ve fallen down between the mattress and headboard and made their way into your under bed storage, lodged behind a vacuum bag.

They're hiding with my spare pair.

Mine only come off to sleep or wash my face or hair. I sometimes briefly swap them for proper reading glasses when I need to see close up outside of the near field of my varifocals eg to pluck my eyebrows.

Can you see far without them on?

I think this matters.
I couldn’t cope without mine so it wouldn’t be long before I’d have to find them.

Mine could for example never be in the car, as I would never leave the car to get to the house without them.

I have sometimes left mine in a wash bag if for some reason I took them off to put contacts in or wash my face. But it would be 10 min before I had to find them.

I can tell you where mine where at least once:
In my make up bag ( a lot!!! )
in the box with pads
in the drawer with paperwork
in the wardrobe ( shelf with towels)
inside kitchen cupboard (with sugar and flour)
inside a bowl with chocolates
Inside footwear cupboard in the garage
at the side of the car seat ( they were on my knees and then fall down)
on the top of shoe rack in the hall

I have the same problem with mobile phone but it least I can phone it.

They are in a dressing gown pocket, next to a sink you don’t use often, in a drawer in the kitchen or in a bag for life you’ve hung up somewhere.
