Can someone explain Frozen 2 to me?

My DC loves it but I can’t follow the story 😂 Am I stupid?

A Snowman called Olaf wanders around doing amusing stuff.

There's some minor side story around that but this is the main thing.

Disney wanted to make some more money.

In 2013, Disney made a very overhyped film, with a catchy song which can be either a theme for freedom and empowerment or an advert for not holding back your gassy ways. Then Disney being Disney decided to bleed that hype to the last penny, not getting that they will never ever have their Toy Story 2 moment because they’re just greedy soulless bastards that long forgot good storytelling with excellent villains.

I like the Into the Unknown song though 😳

Disney decided it had milked neither the Frozen franchise nor the noble savage trope dry quite yet and decided to do it all in one go.

Years ago Arendelle and another tribe had a fight (to do with a dam) and the two factions got stuck in the forest. Apart from 2 children, one from each side, which were Anna and Elsas parents. Anna and Elsa solve the fight,creese the forest, Elsa goes to live in the forest and Anna takes over as Queen.
