Should I potentially be concerned?

I want to preface this by saying I'm not anxious about this, just curious (because I've never owned a dog and have only ever read about this phenomenon online).

So this has been going on for some time but whenever I go round to the in laws, their dog is obsessed with sniffing my crotch. Just me, I've never seen her do it with anyone else, and she really perseveres (as in, will obey a command to go and lie on the other side of the room then 10 seconds later get back up and do it again). When I was pregnant I thought it was some kind of pheromones but the behaviour has persisted long past pregnancy/post partum period. Today however, she was also sniffing my breast just on the one side.

I had bloods done a few months ago for something unrelated (struggling to put on weight) and they did return that I had generalised inflammatory markers but there was no further investigation.

AIBU to think the dog might be smelling something wrong? Is it just a certain breed of dog that can do this?

I would book an appointment with a GP

It’s a well known phenomenon. I’d ask for a full check up OP. At least it will put your mind at ease.
