To ask for some tips with a monsterous hangover?

Typing with one eye closed to counteract double vision. So dehydrated that my boobs seem to have changed shape, DH is being an absolute fucking sadist and dragging his heels with the hash browns and sprite from McDonald’s. DS, as usual, is being an absolute gem and has fixed himself some crumpets and is down a Minecraft rabbit hole. Do I attempt the shower? Should I have a beer? Technically I’m off the hook today as all the laundry and arbitrary household tasks were completed Friday on my day off, I could just lay here and fester all day… what should I watch?

I have bought some 'Hangcure' tablets off amazon for my Xmas do this month! Apparently you take two before you go out and two when you get back home (not sure how I'm supposed to remember the two when I get back, might have to ask DH to stuff them down my throat!) No idea if they are going to work but I just thought I would mention they are an option for next time 😉
I have noticed now I am older that I have to wait for food in the morning, just juice and water until lunchtime or it makes a spectacular reappearance!!
The only option really is to suffer from our stupidity for a day whilst swearing never to drink again....

I also loved Andrew liver salts for hangovers.

God knows how I managed to neck it down and not be sick!

@Chocachocaholic I’ve just inhaled some hash browns and a large sprite from Mac D’s, Ds has come and ferreted his way into my bed for a cuddle and he’s saying stuff like ‘I do love a lazy Sunday! It’s so nice not to do anything!’
I feel like he’s literally the best little chap in the world. DH has gone into town shopping! He’s immune to late nights and booze! I hate him for it 🤣although he’s literally double my size so that might be part of the reason.

@LittleStringOfFairyLights we’ve all done the “I swear I’ll never drink again!” or in my case posting on Facebook “cocktails are evil!” .

@GonnaGetGoingReturns of course we have, it's part of our penance 🤣 We might even mean it at the time....

Never take paracetamol for a hangover. Combining it with alcohol can absolutely fuck your liver.

My last hangover was so bad, I rarely drink now and when I do, I drink in moderation. I was ill for about 3 days and was actually sick (post meno & fat).
