Lap Dancing

My husband meets up with a group of friends every couple of months. Not that it matters, but to set the scene, you'd probably class the friends as bearded hipster types in their late 30s and early 40s.

They met yesterday afternoon. This time one of the friends bought some of his friends along that my husband has never met before.

My husband normally gets home from these meet ups about midnight but yesterday he arrived back a lot earlier than normal.

He said the reason for this is that the "newer" guys wanted to go to a lap dancing club. My husband doesn't feel comfortable with this sort of thing so chose to come home.

I've nothing to complain about, but is it normal for guys to go to this type of place after a few drinks?

Obviously people venture there or they wouldn’t exist as a business.

depends on social circles I guess. It’s a bit of a lazy hangover from the 80s corporate world in my experience

Laye 30s early 40s seems a bit old to be going to a lapdancing club to see what it's like tbh.. I'd judge anyone of this age going.
I mean I've been to a lapdancing club in my 20s just out of curiosity as to what it was like.
Men who frequent lap dancing clubs do give me the ick.. and any man over 30 who goes I'd just think it's a bit immature. Beardy hipster types probably kidding themselves thar it's a bit of ironic fun.. it's not. It's seedy and sad.
