To ask if anyone else has lost a friend

Have you lost a friend because your children fell out? Did it end badly or did you get back together after a period of time?

Friend here has said she needs a break from me because her DS has said my DS has done something. I only have one side of story, but so does she. Any advice or help appreciated!

In my experience it's hard to recover after you've fallen out over children.
Even if she is right about what happened, does what your DS did warrant her breaking off the friendship?

Yes - I left my son in her care to take my daughter to the toilet. Asked her to watch him, she agreed, when I got back 3 minutes later he was in a really dangerous situation. I was so upset. Never saw her again.

@PinkyBlueMe that is a really good point. No! It was kids stuff but the consequences of her DS behaviour nearly got mine beaten up…
@AndWordsWhen was that an old friendship or a ‘new’ one? Sounds awful, am so sorry to hear it.

Honestly @NotMYChild if she can do this over children's squabbles you are best off out of it. It might have some justification if it was something terrible and you were handling it badly but that doesn't sound to be the case.
It still hurts but this sounds ridiculous of her.
