VW Id4 speed limiter - Help!!!

Hey all,

I have an VW id4 and all I want it to do is to adjust automatically the max allowable speed limit I should not go above.

I don’t want the car to accelerate my speed to match the max allowable speed limit, like a cruise system would do.

All I want is to refrain me from going over the limit! i.e if the limit is 50mph the car should not let me go above 50 but will also let me go with 30 if this is what I prefer.

I live in a rural area where some roads are 20mph, others 30mph, others 40mph and others 50mph.

It’s very easy to go exceed the allowable speed and I need some help!

Can ID4 do it for me?

I don’t want to set myself the speed limit every 5mins depending where I drive, I want the car to use the road signs and adjust it automatically.

It’s actually quite concerning that some drivers are becoming so reliant on the technology in modern cars to do the driving for them, instead of concentrating properly and reading the road themselves. Time and again, I see people looking at their phones while driving. No wonder the standard of driving in this country is getting noticeably worse.
