All my adult life I've had this problem. People see fit to laugh and I'm sick of it.

I wear padded bras and use nipple covers but I am skint (work part time due to other commitments) and can't afford to buy new covers for a few weeks.

AIBU to say "f* it" and just be proud of my nips and let them shine through? I guess the Kardashians may done something to be thankful for!

Bag of cotton rounds from superdrug may do the trick?

Otherwise yes, simply embrace it......it's winter so probably not unusual to see erect nipples.

A friend of mine uses a spread out cotton wool ball fastened with micropore - I don't know how that compares cost-wise though.

I don't bother with trying to cover up.
In the grand scheme of things it's no big deal imo.

I wouldn’t think too much into it tbh. I’ve chosen to embrace the nips buy the unpadded pretty bras. Just free the nipples! Or if you are super paranoid then I’d put cotton pads in your bra but I don’t think you should have to!

As reusable nipple covers are cheap as chips on Ebay etc perhaps the expense is just an excuse? I had a mastectomy last year and the prosthetics sold at M&S actually have a nipple on them so I don't think anybody cares whether they are visible or not. Personally, I wear a nipple cover on my remaining torpedo as I'm unable to wear a bra and it makes my lopsidedness less obvious. Go for it.

I got rather emotional writing this thread (I know, I know) as this has always caused me anxiety.

The sniggerers are just showing how daft they are, so glad you've decided to ignore them and get on with life as you are.

I haven't worn padded bras for years. I find them uncomfortable and they look weird. I hate that they became the norm. Wear what feels comfortable to you. You have absolutely no obligation to hide the fact you have nipples and anyone who comments on them is being incredibly inappropriate.

Just embrace it. Theyre nipples, every single person on the planet has them.

If anyone makes a comment just ask why the fuck they're staring at your tits.

Why should you actively hide your nipples? All humans have them, male and female. I don't normally wear a bra, so the outline usually shows. But so what, there are more important things to worry about.
