To be so scared for my autistic child?

I learnt recently from a BBC article titled" Young autistic people still dying despite coroner warnings over care" that 2 teenaged autistic boys died in the Kent area. I've also just learned that an autistic teenaged boy more local to me died recently in a traffic accident.

I don't know what to do to help my son. It's making me panic a bit. I knew that autism would make his life harder but I never dreamt that it could end it.

Please can anyone help? Thank you.

Can you tell us more about your fears?

Will he go into care one day? Autism is a huge spectrum.

Did the traffic accident have anything to do with his autism?

@Princessconsuelabananahammock9 thank you for replying.

I'm scared of him being in an accident. In the article, 1 boy fell from a cliff edge. I'm scared he has no real sense of danger or safety so could get into dangerous situations.

His autism is mild so his provision is mainstream but that means he will be exposed to everyday dangers 😞 like traffic.

Regarding the local boy who tragically died, the exact circumstances weren't made clear.
