One year old sleep

My one year old sleeps mostly at night. However in the day he can literally go all day without a nap. It began once he started nursery and had 25 mins there. Before then he was having a good hour to two hour nap once a day. Is this normal?

Normal for some - my eldest was the same, but that did mean 12hr+ uninterrupted sleep at night. Every cloud / swings & roundabouts etc.

My daughter stopped napping at 18 months but to be honest could have stopped earlier. She was quite often in bed at 6 and slept right through though which was good

Yes it can be normal - DS5 napped for 3-4hrs a day until 3.5. DD2.5 stopped napping about a year ago.

I have the same problem with mine she’s 14 months sleeps okay of a nighttime but is a very early riser 5:30 most days. She napped fantastically so I didn’t mind the early starts (usually had around 3 hours across 2 naps). But today she’s had two 20 minute naps 🤦🏼‍♀️. My eldest cut her naps at 18m but she always slept brilliantly of a nighttime. It’s such a guessing game isn’t it!
