BIL, SIL & nephew.

Arranged for soft play today, saw them yesterday.

Ive txt'd 4 times asking if meeting them at 11.15 is OK?

They dont get up till after noon anyways,

both phones switched off, I expect they are in bed.

My sister and her family are coming too.

AIBU to stop trying to contact them and just go?

Just go. Leave a message for them and maybe they'll catch up.

SSSandy2 · 12/03/2008 10:03

Think if they don't get up till the afternoon, 11.15 won't suit them but you can leave a message saying where you'll be and how long you'll be staying there so they can join you when they get up if they want to.

Maybe next time arrange something a bit later inthe afternoon?

Go without them.

They are obv 'busy' or don't want to go.

Hes 14 motnhs old, he just stays in bed with them.

They dont go to bed till about 4am.

They are fab, lovelypeople but I get so frustrated with them sometimes and havent got the patience to be waiting around when Im up from 7am with my kids!

By 10am my children want to go out, so I cant be waiting around till BIL decides to get up!

Don't work.

No nursery.

well I think the only way to have a morning playdate with them would be to turn up at their house and wake them personally. I don't see it happening otherwise tbh

I don't think they sound like the kind of people who would be offended if you went off for lunch with your sister without them tbh
