Vinted help please!

Just sold an item on vinted. They've chosen the Royal Mail option which I've never used before and unfortunately I don't have a printer. The instructions off vinted are below.

Does this mean I can get a label printed off at the post office? There's no bar code or QR code to scan so I'm confused.

Label the package with the buyers name & address, take it to the post office and ask to send second class. Once you have the proof of postage receipt upload the picture to Vinted

I've purchased online and chosen the collect and bring label option.

So I pack it up. The postie collects it and brings the label, sticks it on and takes it away.

If I did that it wouldn't generate a barcode though. Does it not need the official vinted label or can I just hand write the name and address on it?

That's helpful, so I'm guessing I could buy the label online and suggest the print/drop off option at my local post office?

This is by far the most complicated way of sending things I've had so far, might get rid of the Royal Mail option after this.

@bowlingforgloop all you need to keep hold of is the proof of postage receipt & upload a picture of that, no official label! Yes you can hand write it & stick it with sellotape

Also, don't have royal mail as one of the carriers buyers can select. Evri or yodel are far more straightforward. For next time obvs.

Just package it up and pay for collect and postage via the Royal Mail website. They bring a label. Once collected, screenshot the confirmation email and click ‘posted’ on the message with the buyer. Easier for me than driving to the nearest post office
