Child’s passport

Has anyone applied for a child’s renewal passport recently and can tell me how long it took? It’s a straight forward renewal, old passport has been received (just had the confirmation). Thanks

Both my kids took around a week.
It's an ideal time to do passports as there's no great rush of people renewing for summer holidays!

I've renewed three kids and one adult passport within the last month. From doing the online application to receiving the new passport was between 7-10 days for all of them.

Just noticed you've said they've received the old passport. Assuming your photos are all ok, it'll probably be a matter of days.

Around a week here too.

Less than a week and that included needing a different photo! Super quick.
