I work for the NHS, we have a car park at a different site which operates a free hopper to our base. The car park has about 500 spaces which is way more than needed.
The hopper only runs on weekdays so we park in the hospital multi story at weekends and on nightshirts.
We pay about £50 a month for the space.
Recently the local bus service has been on strike and will be for some time to come, so the trust it letting non- car permit holding staff use the spaces for free. We pay and there are no spaces left for us and we have to get there early and sit in our cars till the hopper bus arrives.
Am I being nasty for thinking it's unfair they don't have to pay and we do - am I missing an obvious point ?
