Baby born at 36 weeks induction

So I am 35 weeks pregnant.
I am getting induced at 36 weeks due to a lot of issues with my health.
had 2 previous inductions at 37 weeks with my other two and it was an "Ok" experience but never this early.
Baby had steroid injections at 31 weeks and he is a good weight so I have been reassured that he will most likely be well although a short stay in NICU is possible.
I am so worried :((
I know my body is not ready yet and I am scared to be induced, is there any way of starting my labour this early ?!
my consultant offered stretch and sweep but I know it will only be effective once baby is ready which obviously wont happen this early !
I always dreamed about getting to 40 - 41 weeks and labouring at home then having a water birth and I am so so sad this is not going to happen again .

Hello, I had steroids in December (over Xmas) baby born mid January and the steroids didn’t quite work. Have you asked if you another set of steroids might be an option? Sorry I know they feel like a horse has kicked you in the arse!

I was induced at 36 weeks - it was fine. They are almost term - mine didn't need any steroids or any nicu stay. He just needed a bit of extra monitoring of blood sugar and feeding.

Try not to worry about baby - hope your health issues resolve themselves.

My baby was born at 36 weeks after two lots of steroids. He was small and jaundiced but ok after a few days in the nursery. I had health issues also and he was delivered via c section.
