which is what you are going to say

So the other day, I was waiting in the car for dh, when a man came strolling past, hands in pockets. A woman was behind him, yelling "Come back here, I'm taking the car, I'm going, don't you walk away from me" etc etc, really yelling and obviously very very angry.

So he totally ignored her, didn't even turn round and she got in the car and drove off. She drove round a line of cars, did a sort of circle, parked the car and ran off down the road after him.

And I thought, pah y'spineless pansygirl!

You know what the moral of the story is there don't you?

Best way to deal with a tantrum is to ignore!

hecate · 11/03/2008 17:42

how true.
Still, I felt let down by her.

But maybe she was running after him to kick him in the bottom? Before swaggering back to the car and driving off?

stripeyink · 11/03/2008 17:46

brilliant story though

dizzydixies · 11/03/2008 17:48

would you have been more pleased had she run him over

Twiglett · 11/03/2008 17:49

you know if it was the other way round you'd think the person who tried to drive off did the decent thing by coming back ie

gender bias anyone?

LoveMyGirls · 11/03/2008 17:54

Yeh if other way round i'd think awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww he must love her isn't he sweet!

I think it's because men show their emotions much less than women so when they wear their heart on their sleeve we are suprised.

hecate · 11/03/2008 17:56

Honestly Twig?

I'd have thought pah what a spineless wimp.

If you are going to storm off, storm off. Don't yell and tantrum and then bottle it. Makes you look weak. I hate public arguing, but if you are going to make a spectacle of yourself, at least have balls!

Dizzy....ahem.
