Would this be bitter (child maintenance)

If your ex was paying £7 a week but you know they have undeclared / unearned income (not sure on the exact term) would it make someone bitter to report it to HMRC? I’ve been told to let it go as it would make me bitter (by a family member)

Who cares if people think you are bitter? He’s hiding his income to deprive his child. I’d think less of him than of you.

I'm in the same situation. My ex works cash in hand and he also has 10's of thousands of pounds hidden in his brother's military injuries account.
I've reported several times and got nowhere. Good luck!

Thanks all looks like I won’t bother as no proof
