Have had an argument with DH, so instead of cooking dinner going to relax with a bottle of wine?

DH is being an entitled prick! Nothing major but just always expects me to do everything and I called him out on it which led to a stupid argument. Would normally cook dinner for DH and the kids tonight (a roast) but feel like letting everyone fend for themselves and just enjoying myself for once on a Sunday!

If this is true, then you've let your children down massively and they deserve so much better than you and your husband. Why would you allow them to witness this?

What a fucking mess, poor kids

@Scalottia @LuckySantangelo35 I’d prefer not to let it get to the point where my kids will have to wait around starving and nervous, and maybe beg either one of us for food. I was quite often a victim of my parents’ stand offs, and of course one of them would eventually get or make us food, but I’d rather we didn’t have to suffer in the meantime just so they could both make a point.

Yes if she stocks the cupboards for DC or cooks for DC, she “loses” to DH but who cares, she’s their mother. He’s their father too but again, if that’s a battle you want to fight, you are not a good mother frankly. And yes, let him (the husband) go hungry by all means of course.

Just seen the updates. Well, hunger will be the least of the kids’ problems’ today I suppose.

Definitely not fair that he expects you to do everything but to get drunk on a Sunday afternoon and yell at him with kids in the house is horrible. I feel really sad for those poor kids. They must feel like 5hit.
Jesus, just leave him if you hate him so much.
