Anyone with Resideo Heating App?

We recently had a new heating system installed and I'm new to the apps! I've read the instructions but it's not clear.

I've been setting my heating to come on at 0600hrs (as we generally get up around 0700hrs), but I've noticed it's been kicking in a bit earlier (I heard it come on at around 05.10 this morning)

The clocks on my app are all correct.

So my question is, does the heating system aim to 'reach temperature' for 0600hrs, (hence why it's kicking in a bit earlier?)

I'm used to the old systems where I had to set it an hour earlier so that the house was was warm when we actually got up.

If the new system aims to reach temperature by the time I have set, then I'll set it for 0700hrs.

Does anyone know? I don't obviously want to be running more than I have to with current costs 😬😬

TIA

We have it but haven't really ever used the timer function, we just turn it on when needed. I do love being able to turn it on from anywhere and come home to a toasty house.

We have had it for a few years now, but I can't say I have noticed it coming on any earlier than the time it is set to. I usually hear it turn on right on time.

The only time it comes on in-between times is if the temperature is the house drops below the temperature I have set on the app, so I make sure that it is set very low (13 degrees) at those times.

I do have it set at 12 degrees overnight so can't imagine it will have dropped below that as we are well insulated.
I wonder if it starts earlier to heat to temperature for the time I set it for 🤔

I don't use this app, but use the Bosch one - it comes on early so it is at temperature for the time you set. It's a "pre warm" setting on the boiler. It will possibly also periodically warm the tap water (that's already sat in the boiler) . If you turn the "Eco" setting on, it should stop.

ETA I've just checked on my app and it's called "optimum start" - sorry the Eco setting is different to that 🫣 Sorry for the confusion.

Ahh yes I have Optimum start on, so this is what it's doing - I thought so! Thanks 👍
