To get annoyed at gig/show

My husband and I had tickets for a seated gig/show.

We were fortunate to have front row seats, although obviously paid more for these!

As soon as the act started, some women from the back of the venue ran down to the front and stood between us and the stage to dance.

I couldn't see a thing.

I ended up getting annoyed and said something to them. They thought I was in the wrong!

Would you have said something?

Was there standing room or was this entirely seated? If the latter, I'm surprised the ushers didn't shoo them off immediately.

OMG that would be rubbish!! Was there no security to say anything? I was at a seated gig recently and a young man who I suspect was autistic was in the front row. He was absolutely loving it, but got a bit too enthusiastic, so the security guy asked the carer he was with to calm down for the benefit of the others nearby.

YANBU.
