To wonder why cars don’t need keys to start now?

Because it is actually killing me. No idea where keys are; clearly in the car somewhere as it starts, but where? In the ignition they are in a set place harming no one.

Mine does this - it's a Dacia Duster! Not expensive at all

I suspect @XenoBitch 's mum might have one - they key is stupid, black and bigger than a credit card - it also beeps at me when it locks - causing people to turn and look! The key is so dark that I have left it on the console and gone to work more than once - thankfully no self respecting car thief would want it!

I keep mine in bum bag I always take with me. Not taken it out for months.

Air tag it or put a large carabiner clip on it and clip it to your diaper bag or whatever you are carrying. You can clip it to a handle or an inside zip pull
