Anyone else’s child like this just now?

Please go easy on me (I’m a bit worried)

DS5 up on Wednesday night vomiting. Stopped vomiting Thursday at lunchtime. Absolutely fine afterwards and full of beans yesterday. Woke up this morning at about half 5 coughed a couple of times and then vomited everywhere. He’s been sick a couple of times since.

he’s still hungry and wanting to eat and drink. He seems a bit stuffed up, but off colour and has a very very slight temp.

we’ve been lucky that we’ve made it to 5 and this is his first bug.

just wondering if anyone’s child has been the same? I really thought he’d got over it on Thursday afternoon.

also wondering if it could be covid? I’m reluctant to test as it caused such distress when he was a toddler.

Sounds like a very normal bug. :)
A lot of these things can go in cycles. They run themselves out eventually.

If he's still up for eating and drinking, that's a good sign. Keep his hydration levels up, offering drinks more often than normal. Have a couple of quiet days at home, encourage him to rest, and he'll be fine in a couple of days.
