…to think DH should know how old I am?!

Just that!

Together 15 years… and tonight he had to do the maths to work out my age.

I feel a little bit annoyed tbh! Surely it’s a really basic thing to know about your wife?!?!

My DH only remembers my age because he loves bragging that he's younger than me (by 6 months).

Lochness1975 · 11/11/2023 07:57

I told someone yesterday I was 43, just reloaded I’m 42….

Oh and someone asked dp’s age, I couldn’t for the life of me remember… 47/48? Somewhere around there 🤦‍♀️

I often forget how old I am and how old he is and also how old my children and step
Children are.

YABU. I have to think my own age let alone DH. You need bigger marital problems!

I just had to count from my birth year to work out if I was 43 or 44

I do this and luckily becuase I was born on a year ending in zero the maths is easy. The problem is then I forget what year the current year is!

I'm so glad this isn't just me! I never seem to be able to say instantly how old I am. I know DH's age by adding 3 to mine, but given I always seem to think I'm a year older than I actually am, he doesn't come off well from it Grin

I was at work in the tea break when the question of age came up. I confidently said I was 33, a colleague asked me how old my dd was and then informed me that as my dd was 8 and she'd been born when I was 27, that I was 2 years older... no idea where those 2 years went 😳
