DH away next weekend for Saturday and Saturday night for a stag do.
MIL is having our DD for Saturday afternoon and night so I can have some me time as well and a decent night sleep (offered by MIL and FIL).
I've booked a domestic clean for my home and whilst that's being done I'm going for a massage and facial.
I haven't told DH about the cleaner or the massage/facial. I'm paying for it out of my savings. I'm having the skirting boards washed down, the windows cleaned, the kick boards in the kitchen etc all the big jobs that I hate doing! Plus the usual hoovering, mopping etc. DH wouldn't care that I had spent money on this deep down but I'll get the usual "I could of done the skirting boards etc" I've been waiting for 2 new sockets for a year and he's a sparky so I don't hold my breath that he would have time to clean skirting boards 😂
Then I'm going to have a bubble bath, order myself a massive Chinese or Indian (can't decide) and sit on the sofa in new pjs watching trashy tv, go to bed in clean sheets with no snorer next to me and no baby to wake me up and read my book until I fall asleep knowing I can have a lay in.
