I’ve been back at work for a couple of weeks now and my boss has yet to ask how I’m getting on. They have spoken to me but only really to pass on work info and ask how my travel was when we had poor weather. Before I went on mat leave we had a good relationship and they were often popping by for general chit chat and seeing how things were going.
I don’t know if I’m just being sensitive but I’ve found it pretty overwhelming returning and feeling pretty down that they’ve not even asked how I’m doing. Would you expect you boss to ask how it’s going after being back for two weeks?
