Condoms as contraception

Anyone here use only condoms as your form of contraception?

I was on the implant for a year and experienced nothing but anxiety & panic attacks so I got it removed & fell pregnant

I’m now 12 weeks pp & I’ve been on the pill the last 8 weeks it was okay until 2 weeks ago I was convinced I was pregnant I had every single symptom , including morning sickness , I was SO nauseous to the point I was running to the toilet to be sick but wouldn’t actually be sick. I was also waking up out of my sleep with nausea. Anxiety also came at me strong. - I read nausea is actually common on the pill

I forgot to take my pill yesterday & today , tonight I realised I didn’t feel one bit nauseous today which is strange , the past 2 weeks I’ve been so nauseous

so really I would love to just be on nothing , condoms sound a dream because it can’t affect the hormones , but how reliable is it?

if I was using them I would probably still get DH to pull out to be sure ?

I'm not sure what to do, should I just stop the pill and start using condoms or am i taking a chance ? Or are condoms just the same 99% effectiveness as the pill etc

been using just condoms for 15 years and never had any issues - stopped using them both times i wanted to get pregnant and my husband will get the snip after this baby is born!

I had the worst anxiety, weight gain, migraines, bleeding with all forms of hormonal birth control - i will never take any again

I tried three different pills and had problems with all three. So DH and I used condoms for 10 years. No pregnancies. We came off to conceive our two boys and we'll be using them again (when I get my sex drive back 😅) until DH gets the snip next summer.

Used condoms for years and none of my partners pulled out during climax. You just have to make sure your partner pulls out correctly after.

I'm late 30s. Never been pregnant, only ever used condoms. Have never been on any type of pill or implant.

Thanks everyone for letting me know, the sound promising if used correctly, I've been on the pill now 3 days and the nausea is completely gone... interesting & I've been using condoms ever since.. I'm trusting 🤞🏼

Only condoms for 30+ years - no issues, no problems, no hormones, no unplanned children

In my experience the problems with condoms are mostly about misuse, including thinking it’s ok just once and not bothering. Obviously it can fail if it splits though. I think it’s brilliant not being on hormonal contraception because my libido is strongly linked to my natural cycle.
