After a bit of advice

This is about the most relevant category I could find. I'm just after a bit of advice / to get opinions from different perspectives.

My current job offers a manageable workload, 3 days a week WFH written into my contract so unlikely to change. I get on well with team members and other colleagues

The negatives are that it's a small team with little opportunity to progress to a senior role and I came in at the top of the pay scale and unlikely to get a significant pay rise for the foreseeable future. My office is in another county, I commute roughly an hour and 45 minutes 2 days a week.

The new job offer is local to me with about a 3k pay rise and a further 2k in a couple of years. Hours are 8-4 but 1 in 4 weeks will be out of hours This job offers senior management experience.

I'm not motivated by the pay rise, we have additional income from a rental property but I feel like I should take the new job purely for the opportunity to progress, but a part of me thinks it's not worth losing the flexibility that I've got with my current job.

Relatives think I should stick to my current job, but I don't want to look back and regret not taking this opportunity. Please help

Sounds like a good opportunity to me!
What’s holding you back?

In addition to the flexibility, I mean. What does the flexibility enable you to do, that you couldn’t do otherwise?

Thanks @Diolchynfawr

The kids go to breakfast and after-school clubs 2 days a week when I'm in the office but on the other days the flexibility allows me to do the school run and rely less on friends and fam for childcare during school holidays
