Divorce celebration?

Ok not really an AIBU but I'm looking for ideas.

STBexDH left me in April 2021. I didn't have a pot to piss in, an 18mo to support alone and literally no idea of how I was going to sort this. I worked PT, his parents as childcare. This stopped.

Since then - DD is with a brilliant childminder, I now work full time and support us both. We have a lovely home, nice garden, I've bought a new (to me) luxury car, we've been on holidays etc and essentially are doing great. This is all relevant as ex was financially abusive and so I could never have dreamed of achieving all of this on my own.

On top of that - I saved for the divorce. On my own. Luckily no solicitor fees etc, simple sole application divorce at £600 but even so, I did it on my own.

SO - we are finalising in the new year and my god do I need to celebrate. What can I do?! I'm not a spa kind of person, so nothing like that. Im thinking of a couple of nights abroad alone but not 100% on this idea. Not a 'party', but just something to do to celebrate that I've done it all on my own and it's finally over. Suggestions welcome!

Wow that is an absolutely massive achievement OP, you should be very proud of yourself.

I’d probably go for a really fancy afternoon tea type affair with champagne. Whatever you do, enjoy it!

@Starwarslover thank you so much!

I'd not actually considered an afternoon tea/nice meal and champagne - I could take myself somewhere nice for the night, have dinner, go shopping. I like this idea! I live in the East Midlands so fairly central - any suggestions??
