Tips for selling on Vinted please

I'm going to venture into the world of Vinted this week to sell a few bits.
I've had a look & there's such a vast array of prices for similar objects to each other. There are so many items & some so cheap I have to ask myself if it's worth the time & effort.
Do you have any tips to make it worthwhile?

I find it really easy to upload to. I’ve made about £800 this year selling.

Good photos and an honest description. If you want £10 for an item, put it on at £12 or £13. People will always offer lower. Choose your posting options and toggle off those that don’t suit you.

I always take a photo of mine packaged and I don’t sell anything I’m not prepared to lose if that makes sense. I have had one issue this year where a bag burst open in the post. One of the 3 items in the bag was lost. As PP said, Vinted customer service is utterly useless. They find in favour of the buyer. In this instance, it was easier to refund the buyer and I lost £11. Not ideal but at least it wasn’t £51.

For me it's just a case of being out of pocket until they receive the item & confirm all okay. With the other couriers you just drop off the parcel, with RM you pay for postage and have to be reimbursed.

Good photos, and when it's sold actually post it. As a buyer 7 things I've "bought" have had the sale cancelled by Vinted as the seller hasn't posted it.

Remember sizing is totally random! Include actual measurements.

However RM works well for me despite this, because they print the label and collect from my door, so it reduces the admin burden.
