Dishwasher help! Water at the bottom

Inlaws have nearly new bosch dishwasher. MIL called earlier today saying the dishwasher isn’t working. DH went around to check - there is dirty water at the bottom. He emptied it and tried to turn it on. It runs for 5 mins and stops with the “tap” light on.
Any idea what might be causing this? We called Bosch and the engineer can’t come until 16th Nov !! MIL will really struggle until then - DH most likely has to go around to do the dishes! (Mil has health issues). So any help in sorting this out is greatly appreciated!

We had this but our dishwasher wasn't new. After cleaning the filter and all the rest of it, still doing it, we got a man out and turned out it needed a new pump. I think that's what it was, anyway.

We had this with ours, the impeller was stuck - ours is a Miele and we used this video, but it might help you google something similar for their make/model!?

Before that we checked that the pipes weren't kinked (can happen if the machine gets moved a little bit) and not blocked, as that can stop it draining too.
