Have an angry face apparently

At work today someone who has been only here for 3 months said to me as I was going past his office , how was I , everything good .then he said I had an angry face , I was not even vaguely angry and said that’s obviously just my face . When I said to my director about it he said perhaps it was just a nervous comment . I am senior to the man that said it but I did find that very annoying , he is also asking if he can do anything to help me . I am a qualified accountant he is in sales . Aibu to actually now be annoyed .

Some people do just have an angry face unfortunately but he should probably have kept his comment to himself.

I'm not sure what you being a qqualified accountant and him being in sales has got to do with anything!

Because he can’t actually help me unless he can do a vat return or cash flow .

I apparently have an angry face, genuinely can't help it, it's my face! I find it funny and it's actually helpful at work because it stops people approaching me with stupid question or wanting me to help with something

I also have a resting bitch face 😂

My thinking face is apparently really grumpy. Age has made my face fall, unfortunately. Even when i think I'm looking perfectly content, I look sad.

I've found it useful to know, to be honest. I know that it gets in the way of relationships with family and colleagues, so I'm at pains to bear it in mind, and I'll often say "sorry...I'm just thinking!" If no-one had told me I'd be at more of a disadvantage

He is rude and unprofessional. He's no business commenting on your personal appearance. Even if I thought that about a colleague I'd never ever say it aloud. Your Director is a wimp by the way. Why didnt you shut this man down at the time tho? It's usually men saying this about women, probably because you're just not smiley enough for their liking🙄.
