I want to do Christmas elves for my Dd..but..I don’t want it creepy..I was reading how the kids are not allowed to touch the elves and how they’re always watching them or something 😬
Can I just buy two cheeky elves and make a story up about how they’ve come to visit, then put them in different silly places each morning?
Has anyone done low key (and cheaper! Without the book, adoption certificate etc etc)
Any ideas? As in where do you say they came from and why are they here?

My advice is don't start him until 15 December. Then you have less than 2 weeks. I made the mistake of starting ours on 1 December so now that's the expected arrival date. I have good ideas for a few days but its really tough to stretch it for 23 nights. Keep Christmas Eve his last day. He gets on the sleigh with santa. They're so excited about Christmas day and all their new toys that it softens the blow of their hilarious friend leaving. Ours was great for the first few years but as DC got older their expectations increased 😒
