To want a refund from UberEats?

I spend around £500 on home deliveries because I am disabled. I work from home and live in a flat (2nd floor). I usually order via UberEats, however, the last few times most of my order has been missing.

Tonight I ordered £50 worth of groceries from Co-op and £26 of it was missing.

They're saying that I've had "many adjustments" to my account and are refusing to refund me. I'd rather just have the stuff delivered than a refund tbh, but they don't offer that.

Surely this isn't fair? What can I do?

No they will need to refund. Is this an automated message or from a human?

If their riders keep getting orders wrong that isn't your problem, even if does mean you get flagged up as a problem customer.

As an exceptional scenario you can just reverse the transaction via your credit company

Presumably there's no other way for you to get groceries delivered as you want them, so you'll have to push for a refund and make a formal complaint explaining why you've had to keep using them in spite of the problems you've had. It's on record then - you're not a chancer, you're someone who's been ripped off with no option but to keep using them.
