Clock change - help a numpty out!

I need to get up in the early hours for a flight but the clock change is making me super paranoid, and in my tired state I can't get my head around it!

I need to wake up / set the alarm for (actual) 2am. But, the clocks change at 2am. If I set my alarm for say, 2.02, that should be safe shouldn't it??

Proper confused here, probably because went to bed and got up again.
Will take self off again now.

Hope OP gets up in time and catches her flight 😊

Some good quality hours sorts everything. 😴 sleep tight.

OP we need to know

Sweetpea1532 · 29/10/2023 03:12

Yes,@WhyCantIFigureThisOut
As @ClareBlue says...just a thumbs up will work...it's not like you might have something else more pressing, is it?Grin

WhyCantIFigureThisOut · 30/10/2023 05:26

Thank you for all the help and concern!!
We were travelling all day yesterday so apologies for no update.

It worked.

I woke every 30mins it seemed, paranoid that we wouldn't wake. The alarm was set for 2.05, and of course it all worked fine.

For those baffled as to why it was so hard for me to get my head around, your guess is as good as mine. Sometimes the simplest exercise can foil us and we accept all help from kind people.

@WhyCantIFigureThisOut Im happy to hear all worked out just fine...now it's my turn here in the US... but since I'm not expected anywhere on Sunday, I don't have to ask for any help on that topic, thank goodness! I'm normally a numpty so I don't need anything else to add to my numptiness🤪
