I’ve had four dreams featuring a school friend recently. We were close from around 11-19 then it slowly tailed off as our lives moved in different directions, so no huge falling out or anything. The dreams have all been fairly bland (the only one I remember was that we were on an adventure ) so nothing weird, we just haven’t properly chatted in a good few years.

I just can’t help but feel that my subconscious is trying to get me to make contact with her for some reason! We’re still Facebook friends so I know she hasn’t died, I just can’t imagine why she keeps popping into my dreams.

Should I message her?!

I’m not a dream expert but I’m sure I remember someone saying a random person featuring in your dreams is either because you’ve thought of them recently, seen someone who looked like them or your brain is just picking someone at random to give more to dream.

I probably wouldn’t message her but I guess there’s nothing wrong with a long time, how are you sort of message.

I’d message her but not mention the dreams. Just ask how she is, maybe recollect a joint memory and say that you thought of that recently and it prompted you to get in touch.

If you do I wouldn’t tell her that’s the reason you’ve contacted her, she might find it odd!

Yes, you don’t have to tell her about the dreams; Why not just say “It’s such a long time since we were in touch, I thought I’d see how you were”?
