We loved Sani (Halkidiki) and want to go back. However we now need to go during school holidays so the price has jumped. I'm not actually sure it's worth the £00,000.

Does anyone have some recommendations for similar places? Perhaps somewhere in Spain/Balearics - flight times to anywhere Greek are off putting at the moment.

2 adults and 2 children; 6 and 2

6 and 2 are lovely ages.
Mine are 5 and 2 and we have so far enjoyed:

Albufeira, Portugal
Disneyland Paris
De Efteling in Holland
Bruges, Belgium

Portugal would always be my go to. Stunning, friendly, and ridiculously good value.

We just returned from Portugal a week ago. Absolutely loved it and would definitely go again but found it very very expensive once there.

The only place I’ve heard of that’s of a similar standard is the Ikos chain. But they are equally expensive.

I’m not sure you’ll get like for like any cheaper in the school hols.

We like Blue Lagoon Princess in Kalives, Halkidiki but it’s not the level of Sani or Ikos

Have you looked at places in Italy? That is a shorter flight but maybe more similar scenery?

I think they often have quieter hotels with A la carte dining too if that’s what you like
