40+2 today. Baby measuring small but also engaged so maybe that's why?

Midwives offered induction or c section but I want to wait.

Aibu? The midwife wasn't that pleased I don't think.

You sound amazing 👏 pat on the back for you. Your comment about men is just irrelevant.

I really don’t understand all the anger here. Surely it’s quite normal to get second opinions on medical opinions?

There aren't any medals love. Let's just all be happy things turned out well and stop getting annoyed at others having a different opinion to you.

You’re the one who seems annoyed. I won’t talk about my birth as it’s outing but I’m incredibly glad I asked for a second opinion. Turns out the first professional I spoke to was wrong Af.

You were being snarky and condescending. I couldn't care less how you gave birth. You are the one who upthread said my comment was annoying! Anyway have a nice day.

Maybe read the exchanges between this poster and myself before wading in. She was the one who said she was annoyed by my previous comment 🙄

@Lelophants I'm pretty sure the trauma of your baby dying, especially if you ignored medical advice would be more than the trauma of giving birth.

Get a second opinion if you want to but these people go to medical school for years OP, with the best will in the world, you only have 9 months experience of pregnancy which doesn't really count for much in the grand scheme of things.

🤔 really? And if two doctors disagree?

Some of these replies are absolutely ridiculous.

How did you know that about the placenta?

When DS was delivered the placenta was disintegrating and infarcted with large areas of calcification. I was very lucky he was delivered when he was.
