Just been to parents evening for DS and it went well!!! First time I’ve come out of a parents evening feeling good! He has lots of additional educational needs and autism so parents evening has never gone well before, but his teacher was so lovely! She obviously really gets him and was telling me how well he is progressing :) I’m so bloody happy I can’t even explain!

A nice thread for once !
Yes we had a lovely day which was not anything out of the ordinary bar the presents. No dramas here, just family enjoying the day, the food, the company. I suppose the expectation is a bit too much for some so we don't expect anything. It's just another day really if you think about it.
This year is another year without family members who we miss dearly and life is precious. Some folks would do well to remember that.
