Vinted buyers

Am I the only one who is really annoyed when Vinted buyers don't click the Everything's Okay button but just leave it the full 2 days until you get your funds??

I've sold 3 things recently and have a pending balance of over £100 but the buyers haven't said everything's fine.

I actually messaged all of them and asked politely is everything was ok and if so could they click it so my funds are released. Two have read it but still haven't clicked!! One thankfully did it.

One item was brand new and the other 2 were worn 3 times if that.

I hate waiting !! AIBU

YANBU, it's annoying, although possible that the item has been delivered but they're not home/haven't opened it yet.

mummyh2016 · 22/10/2023 19:22

Sometimes it can take me a day or so to get round to checking it. I don't think I've ever waited for it to auto accept though unless the seller has pissed me off!

emmy4 · 22/10/2023 19:27

How annoying for you. I click everything's fine button straight away, it takes seconds.

ViaRia01 · 22/10/2023 19:32

YANBA to find it frustrating but I don’t really think it’s a big issue. I can’t always click right away as I may not open the package right away. Or if I have opened the package I may not have time to inspect it right away.

You may think that sounds ridiculous but it is the way it is in my busy house. It doesn’t always take two seconds either…. Depending on what the item is…

thankfully, vinted has a process to ensure sellers get the funds released after 2 days so it all resolves quickly.

Oliviera1996 · 22/10/2023 19:34

I know! I always make sure I do it when I buy too.

I'm glad it's not just me. I also don't tend to buy stuff I want unless it's from my Vinted balance so I've missed out on stuff this week so as I've waiting for funds to clear.

No YANBU it's blimming frustrating because it makes me worried there's an issue! It really doesn't take long to click the button unless the item hasn't been checked

Oliviera1996 · 22/10/2023 19:45

@SophieHope7 I don't know if I'm being really skeptics but one of the items I sent I just got a funny feeling about the buyer. Just the messages she sent and she was haggling haggling the price.

Anyway she is one who has read the message and not clicked but I have a horrible feeling she is going to say there is something wrong with the jacket so she gets to keep it and a refund. I actually took videos and pictures of the jacket before I sent it as I had a suspicious feeling.

I don't know if I'm being paranoid 🙈🙈 just because it was quite expensive!

@mummyh2016 well I don't think ive pissed her off. She literally offer me nearly half of what I had the jacket advertised for and I politely said it was too low but gave her £5 off and I posted it that day for her!

😂😂😂

Oh that’s annoying

Ive only ever bought on Vinted and always clock the button once I’ve opened the parcel. I always found it weird that sellers then would give me feedback saying “great buyer” because all I did was buy what I wanted! But hearing that not everyone clicks this button is probably why

You wouldn't qualify for a pissed off auto from me Smile
I think the one time I've done it the seller took 5 days to download the label which meant they had another 5 days to post which they took full advantage of!
I told DH to leave one to auto go through last week. He'd brought a football top for our son, not expensive but when it come it turned out it had been personalised with another child's name on the back. There was nothing in the description, turned out the seller had put 10 photos on (or whatever the maximum is) and it was only the last one that shown it. It was DH fault, he said he thought he had looked through them all which clearly he didn't however I thought the seller had been sly by not stating in the description it had got a name on the back and IMO she knew what she was doing by putting it on as the very last picture. I told him to make her wait for her money Grin
