What’s the most ridiculous price that someone has offered you?

Currently selling a pushchair for £70. It was used for less than a year as I got pregnant again and had to purchase a double buggy, so it’s in great condition!

Guess how much someone offered to purchase it for? £15😂 like really? Come on now.

It just made me think, what’s the silliest price someone has offered to pay when you’ve tried to sell something?

I have someone on vinted making me offers in 20p increments..... we're currently up to £4.80 (it's on for £10)

We started selling stuff when moving house 18 years ago. I (sadly) began a list of what and how much it sold for, and have kept it going. Have sold everything from old kitchens and surfboards to bricks and car boot items.
Currently up to over £9k.

Not sure if it's still a ploy, but I knew an old man who restored antiques. Whenever he advertised, a number of women would arrive and reference their husband's paltry salary as a senior policeman to try to drive down the price.

He always responded that as he wasn't a judgemental man, he never charged more for those "in the force".

When £15 is all they have. We gave our stuff to charity.
