I’m awake this time on a Sunday because…

…DH woke me up at 6:30am, boiling the kettle. He also woke 3 x young DC up.

Who is BU?

He’s always been an early riser. But the kettle is so loud it wakes the whole house up. Why does he need a coffee at 6:30am?!

I have a toddler.

Thin walls, loud kettle or a combination? DH made coffee this morning, kitchen directly below our bedroom, and I can’t hear it. Or the toddler for that matter. I’m still in bed feeding the baby.

I'd be annoyed if I was your DH, up early to have a brew in peace but then everyone has to wake up and ruin the calm 😅

I'm awake because the cat has decided it's time for me to feed him and also because I need about 12 wees an hour being 30 weeks preggers

This is my favourite time of the week. Been up since 6. Everyone else sleeps in. I’m back in bed, on the iPad with a coffee. The house is still and silent.

You definitely need a quiet boil kettle!
I woke up for a wee at 10 to 6 which is really annoying as DS didn’t wake up till quarter past…..

Oh that’s danger territory for us, if one of us needs a wee at that time and everyone is asleep, unless it’s pain inducing we try and hold it!

Because I normally confine the cats to downstairs but last night couldn't be bothered taking one down (asleep on my bed). Which meant an early morning 'where's my breakfast' call! Lesson learned (again) that the cats must be left downstairs overnight!

@SouthernBel @Fernandosseat514 I am worried because someone keeps letting her out of her stable at night. Also the gate out of her yard has been left open a few times this week, meaning she can wander down/across the river.
I have had the horses at home for 8 years, 6 weeks on a livery yard and I'm frazzled. Moved to a yard as she is new to me and I needed to school her on a bit and I don't have the facilities. Other horse was happy just to plod out every now and then.
I am moving her again in a couple of weeks, where hopefully I won't be concerned about her safety.

Everyone seems to have those solar powered cameras that you can link to your phone nowadays. I will try and find the brand; have just forgotten the name!

I got woken up by my 4 year old having yet another screaming meltdown.
Yet asking for help from 'professionals' because she's clearly autistic (I grew up with an autistic brother, so I'm well aware of the markers) gets me nowhere.

Maybe they will help when I inevitably have a mental breakdown?

I'm up because DD wanted to show me she managed to tie up her dolls hair by herself. Can't complain as she waited till 7.01 to tell me as they can get up after 7... Hmm

I've been up since 5.30. Eldest has a 8.30 kick off so needed to be up at a reasonable hour anyway, but I could hear the cat miaowing to be let in and he must be obeyed.

First thing I do is put the kettle on. Buy a quieter one for Christmas!

It's just my natural body clock.

I'm awake because I am in hospital and they start the medication round at 5.30. Been awake most of the night as there are a couple of confused people who scream all night as if they are being tortured. Hoping to be discharged today.
