I ordered two, flat pack bedside tables, £100 each. One of them arrived with it's back all damaged. It's been assembled now and there is no back to it, but because it is sat against a wall it doesn't really matter. I emailed the company asking for a the replacement part and to send me the back panel. They wrote back saying they're happy to replace it OR they can refund me £25.
I prefer to have the damaged part replaced. DH wants the money. What would you do? If it helps to inform your decision we wouldn't store any clothes or anything in there is. So no need to worry about say a moth getting in there, more just bedside bits and pieces like mobile phone charger, tissues, hairbands, eye masks, pen, notepad etc
YANBU - get the replacement
YABU - take the money
