House for Sale

My house is currently up for sale. Obviously given the current financial climate the housing market is not exactly thriving.
We had a recent viewer. The usual palaver before, cleaning, getting a dog sitter as some viewers don't like dogs etc etc.
They contacted the estate agent to request a second viewing. Only it turns out they haven't even put their own house on the market.
I said no! Am not faffing about tidying, cleaning etc when they haven't even got their house up for sale.

Nope. They shouldn’t be allowed to come. I certainly didn’t met anyone come who had not sold their house. State that to the estate agent. And make sure next time u check. Waste of time

Agree with you. When their house is for sale, then they can come round

You're paying your estate agent to vet viewers. They clearly aren't doing. Can't blame the viewer for chancing their arm when it's the fault of the agent. Have a word.

Agree. They will probably put in an offer and demand you take it off the market before even putting theirs on. Absolutely not.

Or bored people with a weird weekend hobby.

Hi, I just saw your post, so what part of the country is the your house located? I might be interested if it's in a town like, London, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham. Basically in a city. Thanks
