to expect a condom not to tear?

I know Im not, but so annoyed. It wasnt just a little tear but completely torn in to. Anyone else had this happen to them, and if so what make?

we used boots own make after having the dc (before i went back on the pill) and never had any problems. they come in jumbo packs as well

we hav enever ever had a prob with durex, a friend has had 2 mates one tear.
it's just one of those things isn't it

Yep it has happened..lol..can't remember which brand ...but I have a feeling it was Durex too..I would recommend Condomi Naturals feels like he has nothing on and strong and reasonably priced

Durex too, thought it was one of those made up things until it happened to me, fortunately no pregnancy resulted (wipes brow)

Sadly they do tear..that is why they are not a 100% successful method of contraception...happened to me too!

DH and I have never had much success with condoms - they always tear!
