But I don’t get time to spend on the actual job description as my days are is bogged down in HR due to poor team culture.
Think long term sick, grievances between staff, bullying each other, insubordination towards me. I’ve had no support from my manager who was unaware of these issues.
I got no training in technical side either - eg so outside of HR issues, I always feel
the technical side is sink vs swim because I don’t know the subject matter well enough but I’m accountable. I do independently research but proper L&D is required for joiners.
AIBU to look for new jobs? I’m looking at level transfers, and promotion because level transfers are rarely recruited. The trusted colleagues I told, think my role is v challenging so level transfer, but I haven’t given it a chance to be looking a further promotion. My thinking is, any job is better and if a promotion is the only thing on the job site, why not apply?
